Marc Barreras Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marc Barreras (Santa Fe, New Mexico), who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florencia Barreras (Mendoza) and Salvador Barreras; his grandparents, Aurelia Mendoza (Baca) and Eutimio Mendoza; and his sister Celia Chavez (Barreras).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Barreras (Edgar); his daughters, Cynthia Barreras (Cindy) and Catherine Davis (Barreras); his stepdaughter Olinda Garcia; and his brother-in-law Vernon Edgar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Although fully vaccinated he was a "break-through" case of COVID-19.
Before his stroke Marc loved participating in bowling, basketball, golf and as a fast pitch softball pitcher who often played for charity against Lou Pierotti's Clowns from Los Alamos.
