He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Calles Kahn; his children, Leroy, Yvonne (Bob), Yvette (Huck), Chris (Tabitha) and Kevin (Laurene); his grandchildren, Melissa, Corey, Derrick, Garrett, Antonio, Cresencio (CK), Santiago and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Sean, Andrew, Mya and Banx; his grandparents, Manuel and Amalia Kahn; his mother Margaret Kahn; his aunt Mary; his uncle Clarence Kahn (Odelia); his brother Teddy Kahn (Mary); his grandson Reyes Kahn; his parents-in-law, Simon and Ramona Calles; and his in-laws, Delfina Borrego, Consuelo Calles, Estevan Calles and Guillermo Calles (Antoniette).
A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 23rd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Berardinelli Family Funeral Service (1399 Luisa St, Santa Fe, NM 87505). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (100 S Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
Growing up as a devout Catholic, he served as an altar boy and later became an usher, lector and president of the Guadalupe Historic Foundation.
