He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Sanchez and Eufemia Sanchez; his wife Sara; his son Marty Sanchez; his grandson David Downey; and his son-in-law Dennis Downey.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Jr. (Marina), Julie Downey and Maria Sanchez-Gagne (John); his grandchildren, Veronica Griego (Jeremiah), Marty Sanchez, Erin Downey Vickery (Stephen), Randy, Robert, Sarah, Anthony and Keith Downey; and his great grandchildren, Anjelica Downey Calles (William), Brian Griego, Alexis Quezada-Downey, Jacob Downey, Alex, Jasmine Galindo, Stephen, Jade-Lynn, Amber-Lynn Boone and Ezekiel Downey. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
