He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Groenewold and Helen Groenewold; his brother Jeffrey; and his mother-in-law Minnie. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey and Alexandra; his brothers, Steve (Anita) and Jim (Kristin); and his father-in-law Albert Lujan.
