He was predeceased by: his parents, Escolastica Mares and Liberato Mares; and his brother Gilbert Mares. He is survived by: his daughter Janet Rael (Cristobal); his grandsons, Gabriel Rael (Heather) and Philip Rael (Victoria); and his great grandchildren, Alexis Rael (German Gutierrez), Damian Rael, Annika Rael and Maya Rael. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
