He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidel Sanchez and Reynalda Sanchez (Cora Lee); and his brothers, Fidel (Fiddles), Leroy and Frank.
He is survived by: his daughter Dolores Archuleta (Charles); his grandchildren, William Ryan and Julia Ryan; his stepsons, Michael Morres, Gary Morres (Michelle) and Darryn Phillips (Melissa); and his siblings, Cecilia Ortiz, Christine Sanchez-Warren (David), Joe Sanchez (Jennifer), Daniel Sanchez (Gloria) and Lee Sanchez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
