It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guadalupe Sanchez Jr. (Santa Fe, New Mexico), who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Sanchez and Emma Sanchez; his wife Florence; and his siblings, David, Chris, Charlotte, Mary (late Benny), Cecilia (late Louie), Ida (late Robert), Manuel (Rosemary), Consuelo (late Pete) and Albert (Gina).
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Martinez; his granddaughter Isabella; his daughter Ida Lucero; his granddaughter Teresa; his child Lupe (Denise); his grandchildren, Andres and Kayla; his daughter Gloria (Steve); his grandchild Andrea; his sisters, Della C of Baca, Irene Sanchez, Angie Osuna (late Ted), Jackie Sanchez and Roberta Jean Apodaca (Mickey); his brother-in-law Edward Carrillo (Margie); his friend Art Benavidez; and also, Juke and Patty Dennis.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berardinelli Family Funeral Service (1399 Luisa St, Santa Fe, NM 87505). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (511 Alicia St, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (511 Alicia St, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
