He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gonzales Moench; his daughters, Jesusita Castillo-Moench (Miguel Castillo-Almeida) and Andrea Fabel; his stepchildren, Carmen Crane (Nicholas Monter), Alberto Crane (Edit Keshishyan) and Veronika Kappeler (Manfred); his sister Carola Wenzel; and his grandchildren, Alvaro, Micaela, Felicia, Sevan, Sona, Serineh and Iris.
