She was predeceased by: her husband Max "Bugs" Rivera; her son Robert Rivera; her parents, Percy Ortiz and Valentina Ortiz; her brother Richard; her sister-in-law Rosina Ortiz; her grandson Jeremy Rivera; and her daughter-in-law Eileen Chavez Rivera.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Rivera (Johanna), Philip Rivera (Maye) and Steve Rivera (Elaine); her daughter-in-law Cathy Rivera; her grandchildren, Ken Rivera (Emily), Brian Rivera, April Peterson (Brant), Denise Love (John), Philip Rivera, Jeff Rivera (Jessica), Jennifer Stout (Dave), Valerie Chacon (Manuel), Zack Rivera (Bryann), Afton Cazares (Pancho), Stephanie Crespin and Fallon Crespin (Alberto); her nieces and nephews, Lisa Gutierrez, Peggy Rivera, Marc Ortiz, John Rivera (Susie) and Larry Rivera (Tina); her great grandchildren, Jaden, Eric and Sarah Love; and her nieces and nephews, Ava, Porter Peterson, Eliana, Max Rivera, Isabela, Juliana, Mateo, Monique Chacon, Penelope, Elijah Rivera, Jeremy, Jalyn Rivera, Harper, Tessa Stout, Lili, Rosa and Emi Cazares.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (131 Cathedral Pl, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rosario Cemetery (499 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
