He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricio Lovato and Lois Lovato; his siblings, Rosie Sandoval and Bob Lovato; his nephews, David and Raymond Sandoval; his brother-in-law Sonny Martinez; his niece Patricia Martinez; and his parents-in-law, Maguin and Teresa Romero.
He is survived by: his significant other Andrea; his son Patrick (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Emma and Patrick; his sister Patty Martinez; his nieces and nephews, Lizzy, Monica, Debbie (Greg) and Filbert (Nancy); his sister-in-law Geniva Martinez; his niece Tanya Sandoval; his grandson Justin Lovato; and also Matthew Martinez, Jr.. He is also survived by his son, grandkids and many friends.
