She was predeceased by: her father Fabian Maestas; and her brother Ben Maestas. She is survived by: her sons, Corey Berigan and James Berigan; her mother Josephine Lucero Maestas; her siblings, Christine Naranjo, Cecilia Martinez, Cathy Salazar and Joseph Maestas; and her friend John Abreu.
