She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Burgess and Lillie Mae Burgess (Conder); her grandparent Grandpa Conder (Grandma Conder); her sisters, Jennie Hickson and Edith Jackson (Jack Tapscott); her son Teddy Tapscott; and her great grandchildren, Chantal Tapscott and Ryder Tapscott.
She is survived by: her significant other Jack; her daughter Terry Tapscott of Santa Clara, NM; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Tapscott of Silver City, NM.; her grandchildren, Waynette Tapscott, Justin Tapscott (Sophia), Niki Grimes (Derek) and Joshua Tapscott (Daniella); her great grandchildren, Justin Tapscott Jr., Amanda Brown, Ondie Tapscott, Tucker Grimes and Jackson Grimes; her great great grandchildren, Bryson Abeyta and Errolynn Brown; and her siblings, Carol Mitchell (Walter) and Jerry Burgess (Carol).
In Liu of flowers, the family asked for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
