He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustin Vigil and Bernardita Vigil; his siblings, Eduardo, Alex, Willie, Lupe, Arsenio Vigil and Vera Karcher; his granddaughter Vanessa Vigil; his great grandchild Jazmyne Holguin; and his son-in-law Rudy Muñoz.
He is survived by: his wife Corine; his children, John, Richard, James (Belen), Raymond (Tracy), Louis Vigil (Carol), Estefanie Muller (Ernie), Carmen Muñoz and Betty Vigil; and his sister Laura Caffey (Thurlow). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
