It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ignacio Gutierrez Jr. (San Miguel, New Mexico), who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Gutierrez and Juanita Chavez Gutierrez; his grandson Nathan Gutierrez; his son-in-law Billy J. Gutierrez; and his siblings, Elfido Gutierrez, Mary Duran, Alex Gutierrez, Tony Gutierrez, Dolores Gallegos, Paul Gutierrez, Fannie Tafoya and Amelia Romero (Molly).
He is survived by: his wife Amalia Gutierrez; his children, Leroy Gutierrez (Brenda), Geraldine E. Gutierrez (Rudy), James Nash Gutierrez, Frank Gutierrez (Isabel) and Brian Gutierrez (Dottie); his sister Rita Medina; and his grandchildren, Kenny Gutierrez, Alexandra Engelke (Chris), Samuel Gutierrez (Jessica), James Gutierrez, Janelle Gutierrez (Daniel), Krystal Heras (Armando), Brittany Archuleta (Ty), Gabrielle Gutierrez (Chris) and Allen Gutierrez. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
