He was predeceased by: his parents, Leandro Sr. Lucero and Rosa Lucero; his wife Mela; and his siblings, Tony, Frank Lucero and Connie Gomez.
He is survived by: his brother Joe Lucero; his children, Frances Lucero (Tommy), Michael Lucero (Linda), Jeanette Guerrero and Matthew Lucero; his grandchildren, Anthony Sanchez, Antoinette Wheeler (Brian), Kimberly Lozoya (Eric), Jason Lucero (Andrea), Christopher Lucero (Michelle), Kyle Lucero (Mika), Melissa Baca (Ronny), Madeline Hernandez (Manuel), Alisha Guerrero, Antonio Guerrero (Bea) and Bernadette Lucero; and his pet Willie. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
