She is survived by: her significant other Will Volquardsen of Tularosa; her children, Timothy Duke (Jan) of Okeechobee, Loretta Duke (Janeen) of Parkdale and Lorraine McWhorter (Jay) of Plano; her brother Ed Southwick of Sandy; and her grandson Jeremy McWhorter of Austin, Texas..

Will found great satisfaction in caring for Tamiris as the dementia gradually progressed to Alzheimer's.
