He is survived by: his wife Rita; his sons, Erik Valdez (Candice) and Gabriel Valdez (Lidia); his grandchildren, Enzo Valdez, Eva Valdez and Alisa Valdez; his sisters, Jane Valdez DeLeon (John), Theresa Valdez Marez (Jessie), Delphinia Valdez Moralez (Eloy), Judy Valdez Balderas (Billy), Faye Valdez Cook (Tom) and Katherine Valdez Flores (Abel); his aunt Rose Ortiz; his cousin Mary Jane Lueras (Joe); the mother of his children Karen Valdez; his stepsons, Cody Griffin and Guy Griffin (Alice); his stepgrandchild Ryder; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Ann Griffin. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces.
