She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Lindsey and Opal Cummins; her stepfather Bill Cummins; and her husband Hal Townsend Betty. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Benda (Tad) and Greg Betty (Rita); her grandchildren, Krystal Boyle (Jason), Clayton Berryman (Casey), Sean Betty, Ryan Betty, Kevin Benda (Chandler) and Alexis Benda; and her great grandchildren, Brody, Collin, Matthew, Emily Boyle, Hudson Berryman and Blake Benda. She is also survived by her husband, adored her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Presbyterian Church of Ruidoso, NM or to Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces, NM.
