He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Odell Spurlin and Gladys Spurlin; his wife Patty; his children, Eddy Spurlin (Jill) of Albuquerque, NM, Pat Spurlin (LeiRonna) of Kyle, TX and Mandy Mader (David) of Ruidoso, NM; his grandchildren, Stevie Spurlin of Colorado Springs, McKinsie Rutherford (Corban) of Murfreesboro, TN, Eric Spurlin of Albuquerque, NM, Hannah Mader of Las Cruces, NM and Joshua Mader of Las Cruces, NM; his great grandchild Connor Rutherford of Murfreesboro, TN; and his sister-in-law Susan Dade (Randy) of Artesia, NM. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
