It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor (Bonnell) Shockey (Ruidoso, New Mexico), born in Glencoe, New Mexico, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bonnell and Jewell Bonnell; her great-grandparents, George Coe, Frank Coe and Edwin Bonnell; her grandmother Sydney Bonnell; and her siblings, Irene Nosker, David Bonnell and Harvey Bonnell.
She is survived by: her former husband Morris McClendon (Mac); her spouse Lieutenant Kenneth Shockey; her grandson Trent; her friend Wordle; her daughters, Linda Mallett (Steve) of Casa Grande and Bonnie Bowden (Craig) of Chandler, AZ; her grandchildren, Tisha Sopha (Russ), Kristy Stephens (Randy), Mandy Hank (Mike), Jordan Mesaros (Matt), Lindsay Marsh (Erik), Cadyn Bowden and Trenten Bowden; her great grandchildren, Colton Sopha (Kayla), Cassity Sopha (Jake), Garrett Stephens (Tyler), Carson Stephens, Kaitlyn Stephens, Pierce Stephens, Reagan Hank, Hunter Hank, Scott Marsh, Travis Marsh and Tyler Marsh; and her great great grandchild Brynleigh Sopha. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
