Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charles Smelker of Ruidoso, New Mexico, who passed away at the age of 81, on January 13, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Smelker and Wilma Smelker; his siblings, Gary, Beatrice and Dolores; and his grandfather Charlie.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his brother Doyle Smelker; and his children, Anne Barbier (Ben), Michael Smelker (Tammy) and Thomas Smelker (Michele). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the LaGrone Funeral Chapel (341 Sudderth Dr, Ruidoso, NM 88345). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
