Barney Newton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barney Newton of Ruidoso, New Mexico, born in Decatur, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Frank Newton and Lilla Newton; his brothers, Billy Gene Newton and A. D. Newton; and his parents-in-law, Cyril and Glondon Youngblood.

He is survived by: his wife Sonya Newton of Ruidoso, NM; and his children, Rickey Newton (Joanne) of Corsicana, Randy Newton of Wylie and Kim Sharp (Richard) of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
