He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Adams Sr. and Shirley F. Whitten; and his daughter Amanda Lee Adams. He is survived by: his wife Karen K. Kelly Adams; his sons, William C. Adams (Bill) and James S. Adams (Jim); and his sisters, Shirleen Forbar (Alden), Lynn Prescott and Elaine Wienski. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
