It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Scates of Roswell, New Mexico, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roberta Scates to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Hopper and Bertha Hopper (Lyons); and her siblings, Janice Sue Hopper, Josephine Hankins, LaVerne Castro, Katherine Morgan, Juanita Kaler, Jessie Mae Towndrow and Sonny Hopper.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Scates; her children, Kenneth Scates Jr. of Roswell and Terry Lindberg (Rich Lindberg) of Roswell; her granddaughter Britt Lindberg of Texas; and her brother James Hopper of Midway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
