He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Davis and Alta Mae Steward; his siblings, Jody Davis Kunkel and Billy Martin Davis; and his great grandchild Rode Owen Tinker.
He is survived by: his wife Jodell Davis; his daughter Kelly Wood (Wayne) of Hawley, TX; his stepdaughters, Robbie Higgins (Jim) of Roswell, NM and Lisa Garthwaite of Artesia, NM; his brother Jerry Davis of Ben Wheeler, TX; and his sister-in-law Charlene Davis of Farmington, NM.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews.
