It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Elizabeth Roberson (Roswell, New Mexico), who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edgar Burris and Lena Elizabeth "Lizzy" Burris (Lott). She is survived by: her brother Fredrick "Leon" Burris; her husband Clarence "Wayne" Roberson; her children, Deborah and Billy; her great grandchild Claire Cobb; her sister Kathy; her daughter-in-law Marsha Roberson; her children, Donnie, Howard (Gail) and Patti Kern; and also Mary Kathrine "Kathy" Mooty (Burris). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pearl was an avid supporter of various charities over the years and in lieu of flowers she requested that family and friends donate to the charity of their choice. Some of her favorites were American Cancer Society, UNM Children's Hospital, St. Jude's, Wounded Warrior Project, Alzheimer's Association, and various other charities.
