He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Rose Ella Blount Griffin; his parents-in-law, Jim and Beatrice Gressett; his son Phillip Marvin Griffin; and his son-in-law Gary Pack.
He is survived by: his wife Jerry Griffin; his daughter Nance Pack; his grandson Logan (Michelle Pack); his great grandchildren, Sophie and Harper; his grandson Caleb; his great grandchild Jedidiah; and also, David, Wanda Gressett, Bill and Sharon Gressett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Gateway Christian School Building Fund.
