She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Lara Sr. and Cayetana Cervera; her husbands, Reynaldo Garza and Ismael Guevara (Jimmy); and her siblings, Alberto Lara Jr., Alfredo Ramirez Sr., Rosa Madrid and Elena Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, John Guevara (Berta), Betty Guevara, Jim Guevara (Carol) and Ben Guevara (Thom); her grandchildren, Renee Guevara (Vicky), Benjamin Guevara (Rebecca), Ailene Guevara, Caroline Guevara, Alaina Grace Clark (Joseph) and Samuel Guevara; her great grandchildren, Christopher Guevara, Mickey Clark (Hazel) and Sean Clark (Eliya); her siblings, Dolores Witt of El Paso, TX, Elodia De LaRosa and Carl; and her sisters-in-law, Cloraida Guevara of Albuquerque and Viola Martinez of Hagerman.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St Catherine's Catholic Church (206 Texas Ave, Hagerman, NM 88232). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hagerman Cemetery.
