She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Ray and Myrtle Bownds (Shaffer); her spouse Sidney Guy Preston; her siblings, Lloyd Bownds, Ray Bownds, Wilma Grant, Thelma Fae Russell and Snook Harris; her daughter-in-law Trudy Preston; and her great grandchild Justin Souza.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Guy Preston (Mary) of Atoka, OK and Connie Jarvis of Ruidoso, NM; and her grandchildren, Lavinia Gruis (Richard), Wesley Jarvis (Charlotte), Grant Guy Preston (Karen), Sidney Guy Preston (Cheri), Jimmy Guy Preston (Colleen) and Tracy Jarvis (Colin).
