He was predeceased by: his father Jose Luis Barreto; his grandmother Cruzita Portillo; his brother-in-law Alejandro Chavez; and his aunt Ruth Hernandez. He is survived by: his mother Betty Trujillo Chavez; his children, Elythia and Jathan Barreto; his sister Michelle Chavez; his nephew Jonathan; his nieces, Kayla and Alyssa Trujillo; his great-nephew Cosmito Campuzano; his brothers, Eddie Trujillo (Teresa) and Jose Barreto, Jr. (Azaleah); his cousin Jerahmie Aragon; and his friend Joe Prudencio.
