He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Morales and Soledad Acosta Morales; his wife Juanita Esparza Morales; his children, David Esparza Morales and Mary Morales Payan; his siblings, Antonio Apolonio, Francisco "Kico", Agustina, Mela and Francisca "Kica"; and his nephew Gil Delgado.
He is survived by: his children, Jesus Morales (Edubina), Juanita "Janie" Anderson, Sandra McCain (Victor) and Alejandrina "Candi" Roberson (Greg); his grandchildren, Greg Morales (Crystal), Daniel Fitzpatrick (Zowi), Amy Janelle Payan (Benjamin), Erica Trevino (PJ), Stephanie Velasquez (Estevan), Eric Morales (Deserea), David Morales, Katerri Morales (Isaac), Tashionna McCain, Kenya McCain, Jacob Morales (Kassandra), Stephen Cannon, Alyssa Morales, Jose "Boy" Ruiz and Jeanette Ruiz; his great grandchildren, Gregory, Aspen Morales, Valerie E. Mulhern, Anthony Ruiz, Carlos Ruiz, Simon Ruiz, Daniel Christian Fitzpatrick, Aaron Moreno, Bryanna Moreno, Ace Trevino, Mila Trevino, Arianna Velasquez, Christopher Munoz, Jaden Velasquez, Ignacio "Chito" Villalobos, Ilias Villalobos, Elena Morales, Cruz Morales, Kairi Austin and Moxxie Morales; and his great great grandchild Sarah Addison Mulhern.
