He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Marquez and Consuelo Muñoz; his wife Carmen Orona Marquez; and his siblings, Santos Marquez, Ramon Marquez, Rafael Marquez, Ruperto Marquez and Ventura Marquez.
He is survived by: his children, Jose Marquez of Roswell, NM and Rosa Marquez of Roswell, NM; and his siblings, Alvaro Marquez of Chihuahua, Irma Zubia of Cuahtemoc and Adelaida Zubia of Chihuahua, Chihuahua. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
