He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Trujillo Montoya and Josephine Nelson Montoya; his great-nephews, Elijah Romero, Sr. and Jacob Becerra; his nieces, Anna Lara and Denise Morales; his great-niece Chloe Lara; his former wife Renee Del Los Santos; and his sister Virginia Montoya Romero.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Lopez, Bernadette Montoya, Jeremy Louis Montoya (Janice) and Joshua Nunez, Sr.; his siblings, Jessie Carabajal (Chris), Helen Ortega (Danny), Debbie Moore (Trent), Pete Montoya, Jr. (Diane) and Frank Montoya (Jessica); his grandchildren, Robert Lopez, Jr., Annissa Nunez, Aubrianna Nunez, Dominic Lopez, Mercedes Lopez, Angelo Lopez, Jacob Lopez, Lorenzo Lopez, Nehemiah Lopez, Elijah Montoya, Maya Montoya, Devin Nunez, Joshua Seth Nunez Jr., Emeriee Nunez and Elliana Nunez; and his nieces and nephews, Eddie Boy Najar, Joe-Ray Carillo, Josue Ramirez, Larry Martinez, Orlando "Loli" Carillo, Steve Matta, Victor Baca and William Anaya. He is also survived by family, cousins, and friends.
