James Hartman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Hartman (Roswell, New Mexico), born in Benton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hartman and Mabel Hartman; and his wife Sally Behnke. He is survived by: his children, Diana Meier (Tom) of California, Dave (Adele) of Roswell and Donna Ellis (Bruce) of Arizona; his grandchildren, Karl Meier (Alia) of San Diego, CA, Emily Godwin (Alan) of San Diego, CA, Justin Ellis (Jessica) of Alamogordo, NM, Matthew Ellis (Kelsey) of Steamboat Springs, CO and Michelle Pruitt (Adam) of Roswell, NM; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Behnke (Sue) and Joe Behnke (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Poor Clare Monastery of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 809 E 19th St, Roswell, NM 88201.
