She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert English and Elva English; and her siblings, Wynona Morgan, Bill English, Kenneth English, James Truman English and Evelyn Grissom.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil Hoogestraat; her daughter Shawna Hamilton; her grandchildren, Abby Hamilton, Harrison Hamilton, Kandace Ewing, Jett Fowler, Hunter Fowler and Celeste McGettigan; her great grandchildren, Emma, Maddie and Brookes Ewing; her siblings, Sue Reed, Jeryl D. English, Melba Harris, Dale English, Jacque Fowler and Bobby Dean English; and her sisters-in-law, Donnis Reese, Cheryl Zwart and Sheila West. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
