She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Plotner and Martha Plotner; and her brothers, Helbert Dale, Donald and Alvin.

She is survived by: her husband Joe Washburn; her children, Gary Washburn (Annette) and Laura Gillispie; her grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, MacKenzie, Emily, Benjamin, Samantha, Gabriel and Rubyanne; her great grandchildren, Millie, Stone, Mable and Salem; and her siblings, Will Plotner (Mary Ethel), Grace Salazar and Thelma Jean Kueffer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (2420 N Garden Ave, Roswell, NM 88201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
