He was predeceased by: his uncle Brandon J. Rowe. He is survived by: his parents, Douglas J. Yates and Leah K. Yates (Rowe); his son Dominic Jacob Bugarin-Yates; his sister Grace Yates; his grandparents, Richard, Theodora Yates and Wendy Borowski; his uncles, Brent, Kevin Rowe, Jeff Yates, Greg Yates, Steve Yates and Kevin Yates; and his aunt Hope Yates.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Devon's son, Dominic Yates.
