He was predeceased by: his parent Urbano Carrillo; his brothers, Urbano "Bane" Carrillo and Manuel "Nele" Carrillo; his mother Rosa Montaño Carrillo; his wife Emma Rodriguez Carrillo; and his sons, Ruben and Gerardo Ruiz.
He is survived by: his children, Hilda Ramirez (Eloy), Griselda Carlos, Ofelia Johnson (Steve), Rene Carrillo, George Carrillo (Bertha), Christina Vazquez (Gerardo "Lalo") and Chris Carrillo, Jr. (Laura). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
