She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry James Sutherland and Pilar Gallegos; her husband Dennis Mendoza; her siblings, Joe Sutherland, Walter Sutherland, Emilia Torrez, Willie Sutherland, Cerilia Campos and George Gallegos; and her sons-in-law, Bill Keck and Charles Reading.
She is survived by: her brother Refugio "Cuco" Gallegos; her daughters, Christine Chaves (Bobby), Irene Keck, Betty Trujillo and Laurie Burrow (Paul); her grandchildren, Greg Carrasco (Pebbles), Jody Carrasco (Teresa), Angela (Fabian) of León, Gary Powell (Heather), Carrie Jones (Daniel), Callie Burrow (Jesús), Kyle Burrow, Lindy Ritenour (Sean), Justin Keck (Jennifer) and Staci Carrasco; her great grandchildren, Samantha Bruns (Tucker), Hayden Carrasco, Adreyan of León, Charlee of León, Joseph Carrasco III (McKenzie), Leah Carrasco, Sista Powell, Gary Powell, Victoria Powell (Emilee), Ryan Lynn Powell, Leigh Ann Powell, Daxon Jones, Ryker Jones, Liam Cain, Ayden Cain, Jocelyn Ritenour and Vivian Vidal; and her great great grandchild Heath Bruns.
