She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolfo Chavez and Deluvina Martinez; her former husband Joe Tony Sanchez; her parents-in-law, Amadeo and Carolina Sanchez; her siblings, Adolfo, Eugenio, Ernie, Joe, Gilbert Chavez, Flora Hernandez, Aurora Trujillo, Eloisa Casados and Maria Chavez; and her siblings-in-law, Arturo, Valentin Sanchez, Senorina Sanchez, Celina Sanchez, Angie Cowden and Mary Martinez.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Avitia-Ruiz; her son William Sanchez; her grandson Dylin Montoya; her sisters, Sadie Maria Espinoza and Anna Franco; her sister-in-law Nea Lucero (Kremhida Sanchez); and her friends, Margaret Rodarte, Ida Martinez and Charlie Sandoval. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
