It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Editha Alice Gellenthien Bartley (Rociada, New Mexico), who passed away at the age of 90, on March 28, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Herman and Alice Editha Brown Gellenthien; and her grandfather William. She is survived by: her children, Sherrill Editha Bartley (Chris), Carlton James Bartley (Lisa) and John Frederick Bartley (Tamera); her grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley (Eric), Jennifer (Cole) and Lem (Julianna); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Grace, Sawyer, Saylor, Samuel, Ember and Layne.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santo Nino Church (2 Vista Bonita Dr, Rociada, NM 87742).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the New Mexico Highlands Foundation for the support of NMHU students. As a longtime NMHU Foundation board member, Editha will be greatly missed.
