She was predeceased by: her parents, Policarpio Romero and Bonifacia Romero (Moya); her husband John Chavez; and her son Ralph Chavez. She is survived by: her children, Salvador (Dorothy) of Albuquerque, NM, John Jr. (Helen) of Albuquerque, NM, Felix (Vicky) of Tyrone, NM, Patrick (Annette) of Belen, NM, Paul (Juanita) of Manzano, NM, Rita Ochoa (Clifford) of Albuquerque, NM and Antoinette Foster (Lonnie) of Rio Rancho, NM; and her daughter-in-law Dolores Chavez (Thirty) of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by Thirty-One grandchildren, over over forty great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nuestra Señora. Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
