He is survived by: his wife Edna Hager (Owen); his children, Wendy Tankersley (Eric) of Corrales, Melanie Phares (Dick) of Lafayette and John Hager (Ann) of Rio Rancho; and his grandchildren, Erin Phares, Leah Tankersley and Rebecca Tankersley.
