He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Koenig (Lenocker); his parents, John Koenig and Lucelle Koenig; his siblings, Jack, Melvin, Jim, Ben Koenig and Marva Simkins; and his pet Retriever.
He is survived by: his children, Rick (Fredine), Greg (Billie Jean), Blain Koenig (Susan) and Sandra Casados (Jeremy); and his grandchildren, David, Lynette, Marsha, Jerry, Bryan, Antonia, Amanda, Kathryn, William, Max, Alice and Emily. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren that he absolutely adored; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
