He was predeceased by: his parents, George K. Pender and Kathleen Monahan Pender; his grandparents, James J., Lillian Keyburn Pender of Pittsfield, MA, William and Katherine Monahan of New Lebanon, NY.; and his brother-in-law Robert E. Dwyer, Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Kristin Ehrlich; his daughter Erin; and his sister Deborah Dwyer. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
