He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar T. Atwood and Genevieve Hightower Atwood; his siblings, Lorena King, Genevieve Kelly, Sarah Zanzucchi, Thomas and Robert (Bob); and his grandson Robert Carol Abercrombie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Brenda (Dan Abercrombie) of Duncan, OK, Shane (Jan Atwood) of Reserve, NM, Lincoln (Rhonda Atwood) of Silver City, NM, Ash (Robin Atwood) of Parker, CO and Donna (Bruce Bawcom) of Hillsboro, OR.; his grandchildren, Caroline Abercrombie Boles (Jake), Amber Abercrombie Weeks (Shawn J.), Leslie Abercrombie Kirkes (Justin), Robert Calvin Abercrombie (Mercedes), Edward Lee Atwood (Abby), Lacy Atwood Adair (Danial II), Shawna Atwood King (Dustin), Justin Atwood, Ashli Atwood Schultz (Ryan), Tana Atwood, Timothy Atwood (Grace), Jeremy Bawcom (Delaney), Jasper Bawcom (Amanda) and Jade Bawcom-Randall (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Via Caroline, Faylynn, Tyler Boles, Via Amber, Elia, Lillian Weeks, Via Leslie, Gwendolyn, Josiah Kirkes, Via Robert, Remington, Piper Abercrombie, Via Eddie Lee, Ashlyn, Shane, Trey, Trevor Atwood, Via Lacy, Bella, Lorna, Taren, Danial III, Adair, Via Shawna, Z. Julian, Zaylen Atwood, Andilynn Earnhart, Via Ashli, Hayli and Jane Schultz; and his sister-in-law Jean W. Atwood. He is also survived by the five children, he is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Community Church of Reserve.
