Zita Yaksich Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zita Yaksich (Raton, New Mexico), who passed away on October 18, 2019 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Zita Yaksich to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lazo Mileta and Antonia Mileta; her half-sisters, Josephine Rodman (John) and Elizabeth Parker (Fred); her sisters, Emily Krulyac (George) and Martha Menapace (Gene); and her brothers-in-law, Buddy Vukonich, Chuck Stevens, Roddy Yaksich, Paul Yaksich (Enis) and Danny Yaksich.
She is survived by: her spouse Nickie Yaksich; her daughter Nicole Shackelford (Phillip) of Roswell, NM; her grandchildren, Colton Miller, Nadia Miller and Rylee Shackelford; and her siblings, Pete Mileta (Mary Nell) of Raton, NM, Helen Vukonich of Raton, Anna Stevens of Colorado Springs, CO and Sophie Madrid (Shorty) of El Paso, TX.
