She was predeceased by: her parents, William L Brink and Mary Lee Rish; her siblings, Sue, Bell, Clara, Gertrude, Wanda and Richard Brink; her son William Newkirk; her grandson Riley Newkirk; and her great grandchild Ellis Edgar Newkirk (Henry Oliver Newkirk).
She is survived by: her son Jack (Elaine) of Amarillo, TX; her husband Henry Oliver Newkirk; her sons, Cecil (Angela) of Moses Lake, WA, Alfred (Marla) of Folsom, NM and Oliver; her sister Betty Irwin of Amarillo, TX; her grandchildren, Leroy (Jennette) of Pueblo, CO, Mary (Travis Oringdulph) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jacque (Bob VanOstrand) of Amarillo, TX, Shad (Krissy) of Snoqualmie, WA, Tommy (Hattie) of Tijeras, NM, Levi (Rebecca) of Folsom, NM, Amaris (Joannie) of South Jordan, UT and Myra (David Mason) of Shalimar, FL; her daughter-in-law Debbie; and her grandchild-in-law Natashia (Amy Davis) of Folsom, NM. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with many other relatives and friends.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Newkirk Scholarship Fund, 11301 Lightfoot Dr., Amarillo, TX 79108.
