She was predeceased by: her parents, Placido Avila and Lucy Avila; her husband Frank Martinez; her son Frankie J. Martinez; and her siblings, Manuel Avila, Gennaro Avila, Alicia Mariani and Estella Romero.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Flores; her children, Maria Romero, Rita (Art Bueno) and Raul Avila; her brother Justo (Alicia Avila); and her children, Christina Marchet (John), Justo Jr., Manuel (Lanette Avila) and Orlando (Amy Avila). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and relatives.
