It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxamino Ortega Jr. of Raton, New Mexico, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Maxamino Ortega Sr.; and his siblings, Felix Ortega, Julian Ortega and Rumalda Ortega. He is survived by: his mother Isabel Ortega; his siblings, Barbara Ortega, Maxine Martinez and Manuel (Theresa Ortega); and his children, Max Ortega III, Felix Ortega and Koral Ortega. He is also survived by four grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
